This silicone hose is manufactured with either a 3-ply or 4-ply polyester reinforcement. 1/2" through 1-7/8" sticks have 3-ply polyester reinforcement, 2" and larger sticks feature 4-ply polyester reinforcement. Capable of withstanding high boost applications as well as temperatures from -76° up to 356° Fahrenheit. Unlike rubber hose, silicone will not spoil with age and is highly resistant to hardening while maintaining very good compression characteristics.
